1
Stand upright facing the cable machine with feet shoulder-width apart. Grasp the rope or handle attachment with both hands at waist level, arms fully extended toward the machine.
2
Position your body approximately 1-2 feet away from the machine. Ensure elbows remain tucked close to your torso and maintain a neutral spine with slight knee bend.
3
Slowly lower the handle by extending your arms forward and downward in a controlled manner, allowing the cable to lengthen while maintaining tension. Keep elbows stationary against your sides.
4
Pull the handle toward your body by flexing your biceps, bringing your hands up and back toward your chest. Squeeze the biceps at the top of the movement, then return to the starting position with control.
