1
Stand facing the cable machine with feet shoulder-width apart, positioned between two cable stations. Grasp both handles with a neutral grip at chest height, keeping your torso upright and core engaged.
2
Pull both cable handles toward the center of your body, positioning yourself so the cables create tension with arms extended outward at approximately 90 degrees to your torso.
3
Slowly allow the cables to pull your arms back and outward in a controlled manner, maintaining a slight bend in your elbows throughout the movement. Feel the stretch across your chest as your arms move laterally.
4
Drive both handles together in a smooth arc toward the midline of your body using chest muscles, crossing the handles slightly in front of your torso. Squeeze the chest at the peak of contraction, then return to the starting position with control.
