Adjust seat height so handles align with mid-chest level. Ensure handles are within comfortable reach. Establish firm contact with backrest throughout the movement.

Slowly return the handles toward the chest by allowing shoulder and elbow joints to flex, controlling the weight for 2-3 seconds, maintaining upright posture without leaning back excessively.

Press handles forward and together in a controlled arc, extending elbows while maintaining a slight bend. Return to starting position with chest muscles contracted, exhale during this pushing phase.
