1
Stand facing the cable machine with feet shoulder-width apart, positioned in the center of the frame. Maintain an upright posture with shoulders back and core engaged.
2
Grasp both cable handles with a neutral grip at approximately chest height. Ensure cables are set at mid-chest level and stand far enough from the machine so there is tension on the cables in the starting position.
3
Allow the cables to pull your arms apart and slightly backward in a controlled manner, feeling a stretch across the chest. Maintain a slight bend in the elbows throughout the movement and keep your torso stable without leaning back.
4
Drive both hands forward and inward in a smooth arc, bringing the cable handles together in front of your body at chest level. Squeeze the chest muscles at the peak of contraction, then return to the starting position with control.
