1
Stand facing the cable machine with feet shoulder-width apart. Grasp the cable handle with one arm, keeping your torso upright and core engaged. Position yourself at a distance where the cable has tension in the starting position.
2
Maintain a slight bend in your knees and keep your chest up. Grip the handle firmly with your hand, ensuring your shoulder is in a neutral position with minimal internal rotation.
3
Slowly extend your arm forward and upward in a controlled manner, allowing the cable to pull your arm forward. Maintain a straight arm position throughout the movement, resisting the pull of the cable.
4
Drive your arm backward and downward by contracting your latissimus dorsi, pulling the cable handle toward your torso. Achieve full elbow flexion and retraction of the shoulder blade, then return to the starting position with control.
