1
Stand facing the cable machine with feet shoulder-width apart, maintaining upright posture with slight knee bend. Grip the machine frame with one hand for stability.
2
Attach the ankle cuff to one leg. Position the leg in slight abduction (away from body) to create initial tension on the cable. Engage core and maintain neutral spine throughout.
3
Slowly lower the weighted leg outward and backward, allowing controlled lengthening of the adductor muscles through hip abduction. Keep the movement controlled with 2-3 second eccentric phase.
4
Drive the leg back inward across the body in a controlled arc, using adductor muscles to pull the leg toward midline. Squeeze at the end of range, then return to starting position with controlled tempo.
