1
Stand facing the leg press machine with feet positioned shoulder-width apart on the platform, toes pointing slightly outward. Back and head should be firmly against the padded backrest with arms at sides gripping the handles.
2
Adjust the seat so knees start at approximately 90 degrees of flexion. Grip the handles firmly and ensure core is engaged with neutral spine alignment throughout.
3
Slowly lower the weight by bending at the hips and knees, controlling the descent as the platform moves toward the body. Lower until knees reach approximately 90 degrees or slightly deeper if flexibility allows, avoiding knees caving inward.
4
Drive through the midfoot and heels, extending the hips and knees to push the platform away and return to starting position. Complete the repetition with controlled momentum, avoiding knee hyperextension at the top.
