Stand upright inside the cable machine frame with feet shoulder-width apart. Face forward with neutral spine. Position yourself so the cable attachment is at approximately head height or slightly above.

Grasp the cable handle or rope attachment with both hands, hands positioned at shoulder height with elbows bent at approximately 90 degrees. Ensure elbows remain fixed at the sides throughout the movement.

Lower the cable attachment by bending at the elbows, allowing the forearms to move upward toward the head while keeping upper arms stationary. The movement is controlled and smooth, with tension maintained throughout.

Extend the elbows to press the cable downward, returning to the starting position. Lock out the elbows at the bottom of the movement before reversing direction. Maintain constant tension on the triceps throughout the return.
