Lower torso by flexing at the waist, bringing chest toward thighs while keeping arms extended and legs relatively straight. Lower in a controlled manner, feeling abdominal stretch and eccentric contraction.

Contract abdominal muscles to lift torso back to standing position, returning to starting T-position with arms extended. Complete the crunch movement by using core strength to return upright.
