1
Stand with feet hip-width apart, chest upright, and arms positioned at chest level with hands clasped or crossed over the torso. Engage your core and maintain neutral spine alignment throughout the movement.
2
Keep your weight distributed evenly across both feet with a slight forward lean from the ankles. Prepare by taking a deep breath and bracing your core muscles before initiating the jump.
3
Lower your body by bending at the hips and knees simultaneously, descending into a squat position. Keep your chest upright, knees tracking over toes, and weight in your heels. Continue lowering until thighs are approximately parallel to the ground or slightly below.
4
Explosively extend through the hips, knees, and ankles to propel your body upward off the ground. Drive through the legs to achieve maximum height, then softly land back on the ground by rolling through the midfoot to the heel. Immediately transition into the next repetition or return to standing position.
