1
Start in a kneeling position on both knees with your body upright, core engaged, and hands placed on the floor in front of you for balance and support.
2
Position your knees hip-width apart on a padded surface. Maintain neutral spine alignment with shoulders directly over hips. Engage your core to prevent hyperextension of the lower back.
3
Slowly lower your body forward by bending at the hips and knees simultaneously, allowing your torso to descend toward your thighs while keeping knees planted and core tight. Control the descent to feel the quadriceps lengthening.
4
Drive through your knees and engage your quadriceps to extend your hips and return your torso to the upright kneeling position. Complete the movement by fully extending at the hips to return to starting position.
