1
Sit on the floor with your torso upright and knees bent at approximately 90 degrees. Keep your feet flat on the ground and hands positioned lightly behind your head or across your chest for support.
2
Engage your core and maintain a neutral spine. Ensure your shoulders are relaxed and your neck is in a neutral position without pulling forward.
3
Lower your torso backward by extending your legs forward while maintaining engagement of the abdominal muscles. Control the descent as your legs straighten and your torso reclines, creating a V-shape with your body.
4
From the extended position, contract your abdominals powerfully to pull your torso upright while simultaneously drawing your knees back toward your chest, returning to the starting seated position with knees bent.
