Bicycle Recline Walk

Instructions

1
Sit upright on the recumbent bike seat with back firmly against the backrest, feet secured in the pedal straps, knees aligned with hip width, and hands on the handlebars for stability.
2
Adjust the seat position so that when the pedal is at its lowest point, your knee maintains a 25-30 degree bend. Grip the handlebars lightly and establish an upright torso position with core engaged.
3
Slowly push the pedals forward and downward through the bottom portion of the pedal stroke, allowing the knees to extend and the quadriceps to lengthen under tension. Control the movement and resist momentum.
4
Drive the pedals upward and backward through hip and knee extension, maximizing quadriceps contraction at the top of the stroke. Return smoothly to the starting position and repeat in a continuous pedaling motion.
