Lie flat on your back with knees bent, feet flat on the floor hip-width apart, and positioned near your buttocks. Head is neutral, eyes facing upward.

Place hands behind head with fingers lightly touching temples or crossed over chest. Keep elbows wide and core engaged before initiating movement.

Lower the upper torso back toward the floor in a controlled manner, allowing the abdominal muscles to lengthen and stretch. Maintain neutral head position throughout descent.

Drive through the abdominal muscles to lift the upper torso toward the thighs in a crunching motion. Exhale as you curl up, then return to starting position with control.
