Position the barbell against your thighs with arms extended. Engage your core and take a deep breath to prepare for the movement.

Hinge at the hips while keeping your knees slightly bent and back straight. Lower the barbell along your thighs toward the floor, feeling a stretch in the hamstrings. Keep the bar close to your body throughout.

Drive through your heels and extend your hips to return to the starting position. Squeeze your hamstrings and glutes at the top of the movement. Exhale as you drive upward.
