1
Stand with feet hip-width apart, holding dumbbells at shoulder height with palms facing forward. Maintain upright posture with chest up and core engaged.
2
Position feet firmly on the ground with weight distributed evenly across both feet. Ensure shoulders are back and the barbell or dumbbells are secured at shoulder level before initiating the movement.
3
Lower your body by bending at the hips and knees simultaneously, descending into a squat position until thighs are parallel to the ground or slightly below. Keep the torso upright and weight in the heels throughout the descent.
4
Drive through the heels to extend the hips and knees, pressing back up to the starting position. Fully extend legs at the top while maintaining upright posture, then repeat for the next repetition.
