1
Stand upright with feet hip-width apart, holding dumbbells at shoulder height with arms bent at 90 degrees, palms facing forward. Keep chest up and core engaged.
2
Position feet firmly on the ground with weight distributed evenly. Maintain neutral spine and brace core. Dumbbells should be held securely at shoulder level with elbows under wrists.
3
Lower your body by bending at the knees and hips simultaneously, descending into a lunge position. Step forward with one leg, lowering the back knee toward the ground while keeping the front knee tracking over the ankle. Maintain an upright torso throughout.
4
Drive through the front heel to extend the knee and hip, returning to standing position. Push back to starting stance while maintaining dumbbell position at shoulder height. Repeat on alternate leg in a walking or stationary pattern.
