Barbell Reverse Grip Incline Bench Row

Instructions

1
Sit on a bench with back support at approximately 45-60 degrees. Position feet flat on the floor or footrest. Grasp the barbell with a wide grip (hands wider than shoulder-width) with arms extended upward and slightly forward.
2
Secure your torso against the backrest to prevent momentum. Ensure core is engaged and lower back maintains natural curvature. Take a deep breath to stabilize the torso.
3
Lower the barbell in a controlled manner by extending the arms, allowing the weight to descend in a slight arc in front of the body. Maintain a slight bend in the elbows throughout the movement. Feel the stretch in the latissimus dorsi and chest as the arms extend.
4
Pull the barbell back toward the upper chest by retracting the scapulae and driving the elbows downward and backward. Squeeze the latissimus dorsi at the top of the movement. Return to the starting position with control, maintaining tension throughout.

  • Utilizes Barbell to create sustained mechanical tension, forcing deep muscle adaptation.
  • Improves overall Back stability and proprioception during heavy loads.
  • Allows for a natural movement path that closely mimics functional daily activities.
  • Significantly enhances the structural integrity and power of the Latissimus Dorsi.
