1
Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding a barbell with both hands using an underhand (supinated) grip, arms fully extended at sides with the bar resting against the thighs
2
Keep your core engaged, shoulders back and down, and maintain a neutral spine. Position your hands slightly wider than shoulder-width on the barbell with palms facing forward
3
Lower the barbell in a controlled manner by extending your elbows, allowing the bar to travel down toward your thighs while keeping your upper arms stationary. Stop just before your arms are fully extended
4
Curl the barbell upward by flexing your elbows, driving your hands toward your shoulders while maintaining stationary upper arms. Squeeze at the top position, then return to the starting position in a controlled manner
