1
Stand upright with feet hip-width apart, holding dumbbells at shoulder height with arms bent and palms facing forward. Engage core and maintain neutral spine alignment.
2
Grip dumbbells firmly with neutral wrist position. Position feet firmly on ground with weight distributed evenly across all four corners of the feet. Ensure shoulders are retracted and chest is open.
3
Inhale and lower your body by bending at the hips and knees simultaneously, descending until thighs are parallel to the ground or slightly below. Keep dumbbells at shoulder height and maintain upright torso position throughout descent.
4
Exhale and press through heels to drive body upward, extending hips and knees to return to standing position. Maintain dumbbell position at shoulders and complete movement with control, returning to start position without locking knees.
