1
Position yourself chest-down on an incline bench set at 45 degrees, with feet firmly planted on the floor and chest supported against the pad.
2
Grip the barbell with an overhand grip slightly wider than shoulder-width, allowing your arms to hang straight down with the barbell suspended below the bench.
3
Pull the barbell upward toward your lower chest by driving your elbows back and squeezing your shoulder blades together, keeping your chest pressed against the bench throughout the movement.
4
Lower the barbell back down to the starting position in a controlled manner, fully extending your arms and feeling a stretch in your lats before initiating the next repetition.
