1
Stand upright with feet shoulder-width apart and knees slightly bent. Hold a resistance band with both hands at chest level, keeping elbows bent at approximately 90 degrees. Maintain neutral spine and engage core throughout the movement.
2
Grip the band handles firmly with neutral wrist position. Position hands at chest height with elbows pointing outward. Ensure slight tension in the band at the starting position.
3
Slowly bring the band handles back toward the chest by flexing the elbows and allowing shoulder blades to retract. Control the eccentric phase as the band resists the closing motion. Maintain upright posture without leaning backward.
4
Press the band handles forward in a controlled manner by extending the elbows and contracting the chest muscles. Return to the starting position with arms extended but not locked. Exhale during the pressing motion and maintain constant tension on the band throughout.
