1
Stand upright with feet hip-width apart, holding a resistance band looped around both forefeet with hands at sides holding the band ends for tension.
2
Position the ball of each foot on the floor with heels elevated slightly, maintaining neutral spine and engaged core. Grip the band firmly to provide resistance.
3
Lower the heels toward the floor in a controlled manner, allowing the calf muscles to lengthen and stretch while maintaining tension on the resistance band.
4
Press through the balls of the feet and contract the calf muscles to plantarflex (point toes downward), raising the heels as high as possible. Return to the starting position with control.
