1
Stand in a staggered stance facing the cable machine with feet shoulder-width apart. Adjust the cable pulley to approximately chest height. Grasp the handle with both hands using a neutral grip, positioned at chest level close to your body.
2
Step away from the machine to create tension in the cable. Position yourself perpendicular to the cable machine with the pulley on your left side. Maintain a slight bend in your knees and engage your core. Keep your feet planted firmly on the ground.
3
Slowly rotate your torso toward the cable machine (toward the left side), allowing the cable handle to move across your body in a controlled manner. Maintain a neutral spine and avoid rotating excessively at the lower back. The movement should be controlled and steady.
4
Explosively rotate your torso away from the cable machine (toward the right), driving the handle across your body in a rotational arc. Fully extend through the rotation without hyperextending. Return to the starting position with control and repeat for the prescribed repetitions before switching sides.
