1
Stand facing a cable machine with feet hip-width apart, positioned at approximately 3-4 feet from the machine. Attach the cable to a low pulley and secure the handle to one leg using an ankle attachment.
2
Grip the machine frame or a sturdy support with your hands for balance. Keep your torso upright and core engaged. The cable should be attached to the leg that will perform the movement. Position the standing leg with a slight knee bend for stability.
3
Slowly extend the leg forward against cable resistance, straightening the knee while maintaining control. Keep the movement smooth and measured, extending until the leg reaches full extension or near full extension in front of the body.
4
Return the extended leg to the starting position by reversing the movement, allowing the cable to pull the leg back with controlled resistance. Complete all repetitions on one leg before switching to the other leg.
