1
Stand facing a cable machine or resistance band anchored at upper chest height, positioned approximately 2-3 feet away. Feet should be shoulder-width apart with a slight knee bend for stability.
2
Grasp the cable handles or band with both hands at chest height, arms extended slightly forward. Maintain an athletic posture with core engaged and chest up.
3
Allow the resistance to pull your hands backward and slightly outward in a controlled manner, feeling a stretch across the chest. Keep elbows slightly bent throughout the movement, resisting the pull with your chest muscles.
4
Press forward explosively by contracting the chest, bringing both hands together in front of you in an arc motion. Return to the starting position with control and repeat for the prescribed repetitions.
