1
Sit on the ground with your back against a sturdy object or wall, legs extended in front of you. Grasp the cable or resistance band attachment with both hands, positioned at chest height with elbows bent.
2
Secure your feet under the cable attachment or loop the resistance band around your feet. Ensure your back is flat against the support and core is engaged. Maintain a neutral spine throughout.
3
Slowly lower your torso backward by extending your legs forward and upward in a controlled manner, allowing the resistance to lengthen the quadriceps while maintaining tension. Keep your upper body supported and stable.
4
Drive through your quadriceps to pull your torso upright by flexing your knees and hips simultaneously, bringing your legs down and forward in a powerful concentric motion. Return to the starting seated position with control.
