1
Position body in a horizontal plank alignment parallel to the ground, facing the cable machine. Grasp the handles with arms extended at chest height, feet elevated or extended behind for stability.
2
Engage core and maintain a rigid body position. Grip handles firmly with neutral wrist alignment. Position feet together or slightly apart for balance and stability throughout the movement.
3
Slowly allow the chest to lower toward the machine frame by allowing the arms to extend forward and slightly outward in a controlled manner. Maintain body rigidity and core engagement throughout the eccentric phase.
4
Drive through the chest muscles by pulling the handles toward the body using pectoral contraction. Return to the starting position with arms extended, completing one repetition with controlled movement.
