1
Stand facing a cable pulley system with feet shoulder-width apart inside the frame. Position yourself centrally between the cables with knees slightly bent and core engaged. Maintain upright posture with shoulders back.
2
Grasp both cable handles with a neutral grip (palms facing each other) at approximately mid-chest height. Ensure cables are set to upper-middle position on the frame pulley system.
3
With controlled motion, allow the cables to pull your arms backward and slightly outward in an arc, allowing chest to open and stretch. Maintain slight elbow bend throughout to protect joints. Feel the stretch across the chest and front shoulders.
4
Drive both hands forward and together in a wide arc by contracting the pectoralis major, bringing hands to center at chest height. Squeeze pectoralis at peak contraction. Return to stretched position with control and repeat for prescribed repetitions.
