1
Stand centered within the cable machine frame with feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent, and core engaged. Position yourself with neutral spine and shoulders relaxed.
2
Grasp both cable handles with a neutral grip at chest height. Set cable height at mid-chest level. Maintain slight elbow bend throughout the movement.
3
Slowly allow the cable handles to pull your arms backward and outward in a controlled arc, feeling a stretch across your chest. Keep elbows slightly bent and resist the pull of the cables as you lengthen the pectoralis major.
4
Drive the handles forward and inward in a controlled motion, contracting the chest muscles as you bring the handles together in front of your body. Squeeze the pectoralis major at peak contraction, then slowly return to starting position.
