1
Stand facing a cable machine or resistance band anchored at chest height, positioned in a staggered stance with feet shoulder-width apart. Keep torso upright with slight forward lean and core engaged throughout.
2
Grasp the cable handles with a neutral grip at chest level, elbows bent at approximately 90 degrees. Position hands slightly wider than shoulder width with arms retracted toward the body.
3
Slowly allow the resistance to pull your arms back and outward in a controlled manner, stretching the chest muscles. Maintain slight elbow bend and controlled tension throughout the eccentric phase.
4
Press the handles forward and together across your body by contracting the chest muscles, driving through the entire pectoral region. Return to the starting position with controlled motion, stopping just short of full arm extension.
