1
Stand upright with feet shoulder-width apart, holding resistance band handles at chest height with arms bent at approximately 90 degrees. Band is anchored behind at upper back level. Maintain neutral spine with shoulders relaxed.
2
Grip the band handles firmly with neutral wrist position. Ensure band tension is moderate at the starting position with chest up and core engaged.
3
Slowly allow the resistance band to pull your arms back and slightly upward in a controlled manner, creating a stretch across the chest. Keep shoulders stable and avoid excessive forward shoulder roll. Pause briefly at full extension.
4
Press through the handles and drive them forward and inward, bringing them back to starting chest height position. Squeeze pectoralis major at peak contraction. Return smoothly to starting position without locking elbows.
