1
Stand upright on a balance board or unstable surface with feet shoulder-width apart, barefoot or in minimal footwear. Maintain an upright torso with neutral spine alignment and engage core muscles.
2
Distribute weight evenly across both feet. Activate core and stabilizer muscles by bracing the abdominal wall. Ensure knees are in neutral alignment, not locked.
3
Lower the body by bending at the knee and hip joints simultaneously, descending in a controlled manner. Keep chest upright and weight distributed through the midfoot and heel. Maintain stability on the balance board throughout the descent.
4
Drive through the midfoot and heel to extend the knees and hips, returning to standing position. Maintain balance and stability throughout the concentric phase. Complete the rep by returning to neutral standing alignment.
