1
Stand facing the machine with feet positioned on the platform shoulder-width apart, maintaining an upright posture with a neutral spine. Grasp the handles lightly for balance.
2
Position your back firmly against the backrest. Ensure your knees are aligned over your toes with a slight natural arch in your lower back. Adjust the seat height so that the leg press platform aligns with mid-foot level.
3
Slowly lower your body by bending at the knees and hips, allowing the weight to move toward you. Control the descent for 2-3 seconds, keeping your knees tracking over your toes without caving inward. Lower until your knees reach approximately 90 degrees of flexion or slightly less, avoiding excessive knee bend beyond toe line.
4
Press through your midfoot and heels to extend your legs, driving the platform away from your body. Extend your legs to approximately 80-90% knee extension without locking out completely. Return smoothly to the starting position and repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
