1
Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, arms held at chest level with hands in fists or open palms near the torso, maintaining upright posture with core engaged and neutral spine alignment.
2
Prepare by taking a shoulder-width stance with weight distributed evenly across both feet. Keep chest upright and shoulders back. Arms remain ready at chest height throughout the movement.
3
Lower the body by simultaneously bending both knees and hips, descending into a squat position as if sitting back into a chair. Knees track over toes while torso remains relatively upright. Continue descent until thighs approach parallel to the ground or as depth allows.
4
Drive through both heels and midfoot to extend the knees and hips explosively, propelling the body upward off the ground in a jumping motion. Return to standing position with control, landing softly on the midfoot and dispersing impact through the lower body before immediately descending into the next repetition.
