Instructions

Lie supine on the floor or exercise mat with your back flat, knees bent at approximately 90 degrees, feet flat on the ground hip-width apart, and hands positioned behind your head with elbows out to the sides for light support.

Engage your core by drawing your navel toward your spine. Position your hands lightly behind your head without pulling on your neck. Keep your feet grounded throughout the movement.

Slowly lower your upper body back toward the floor in a controlled manner, allowing your chest to move away from your knees as your legs extend. Maintain tension in the abdominal muscles throughout the lowering phase, resisting gravity rather than collapsing.

Drive through your core to lift your upper body off the floor, bringing your chest toward your knees as your legs remain elevated. Complete the movement by returning to the starting position with controlled tension, then repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
